Application: This is a right hand 55° parallelogram insert with 0.02″ cutting corner radius, and negative geometry along the cutting edge and positive flank along the narrow edge. It is used for profiling and longitudinal turning. The insert has a thick high-performance multi-layer coating and special substrate chemistry. It offers excellent high-temperature wear resistance and chemical stability. This insert is ideal for semi-finishing to medium machining of stainless steels in continuous or interrupted operations.
