Application: This is a left hand 55° parallelogram insert with 0.02″ cutting corner radiius, and negative geometry along the cutting edge and positive flank along the narrow edge. It is used for profiling and longitudinal turning. With a thick double-layer coating and strong carbide substrate, the insert offers superior cutting edge strength and deformation resistance. It is an excellent choice for medium machining of a wide range of steels. It performs well in demanding and dry cutting condition with improved tool life.
